Birdfinding.info ⇒  Common throughout its limited range.  On Guadeloupe it can be found at most of the frequently visited sites, including Guadeloupe National Park.  Likewise on Dominica it can be found nearly anywhere on the island, including the Syndicate Trail where most visiting birdwatchers focus their efforts.

Setophaga plumbea

Endemic to the northern Lesser Antilles: Guadeloupe, Terre-de-Haut, Marie-Galante, and Dominica, where it occurs in most native wooded habitats, including dry scrub, rain forest, and elfin cloud forest.

Identification

A gray-and-white warbler with two white wingbars and a distinctive facial pattern that consists of a long white eyebrow, a wide dark-gray eyeline, a bold white undereye crescent, and a dark gray whisker mark that frames the undereye crescent.

Immatures show the same pattern as adults, but are olive instead of gray, and have a yellowish tinge where the adults are white.
